Integration with WhatsApp
You can integrate Responso if you have a WhatsApp Business app designed for businesses. Integration with the standard WhatsApp app, intended for private users, is not possible.
The previous version of WhatsApp integration through the 360dialog platform is no longer available. The following instructions describe the only possible method of integrating Responso with the WhatsApp app.
Meta Business Manager and WhatsApp Business Platform (API)
To use the WhatsApp Business Platform, you need a Meta Business Manager account. If you don't have one, you can create it during the registration process. You can find information about WhatsApp Business here.
Integrating WhatsApp Business with Responso
In Responso, click Add Channel and select WhatsApp Cloud API.
Click the Connect with Facebook button and log in to your Facebook account.
Click Continue to grant Responso permission to manage your WhatsApp Business account and payments.
Select an existing Meta Business account or create a new one.
If you are creating a new Meta Business account, fill in your company's details and click Next. In the "Select WhatsApp Business Account" section, select Create WhatsApp Business Account. Then, in the "Create or Select WhatsApp Business profile" section, select Create new WhatsApp Business profile and click Next. Fill in the required information about your company and click Next.
Add your WhatsApp phone number and select a verification method.
Verify your phone number with a 6-digit verification code, then click Next.
Click Finish.
Select the phone number you want to connect and click Done to complete the setup.
How quickly are new message notifications retrieved?
After successfully adding the WhatsApp account, current messages will be retrieved. The inbox integrates immediately.
How many message notifications will be retrieved?
Message notifications from before the integration with Responso will not be retrieved and will not be visible in the Inbox. Integration will only apply to new messages from WhatsApp.
Where can I see WhatsApp data in Responso?
WhatsApp data in Responso appears in the main window in the list of all messages, where they are appropriately marked with the WhatsApp logo. When you open a specific message, you have access to information about this ticket and requester.
