Integration with Instagram

To integrate Responso with Instagram, follow these steps to link your Instagram account to the system.

  1. Navigate to Integration Settings: Go to Settings > Integrations > Instagram or click here.

  2. Add Your Instagram Account: Ensure that your Instagram account is set as Professional and Business—this is necessary for proper integration with Responso.

Set Up a Professional Business Account on Instagram

  1. Open your Instagram Settings.

  2. Confirm that your account is Professional. If it’s not, switch to it by selecting Switch to Professional Account:

  3. On the next screen, select Business Account:

  4. Complete the setup by clicking NEXT and selecting the categories that best describe your business.

Link Your Instagram Account with Your Facebook Page

Your Instagram account must be linked to a Facebook Page for the integration to work. If you don’t have a Facebook Page yet, follow the instructions to create one here.

  1. Log in to Facebook and navigate to the Page you want to link with your Instagram account.

  2. Go to Settings on the Facebook page

  3. Select Instagram from the menu

  4. Click Connect Account to link your Instagram

  5. Finally, allow access to Instagram messages in the inbox

  6. Facebook will prompt you to log into your Instagram account. Once logged in, the integration will be complete.

Message Retrieval and Timing

  • Message Retrieval: Only new messages will be retrieved after the Instagram integration is successfully added to Responso.

  • Timing: If there are no delays on Instagram’s side, messages will appear instantly in Responso.

  • Past Messages: Messages from before the integration will not be visible in the inbox.

Viewing Instagram Data in Responso

Messages from Instagram will appear in the main inbox, where they will be marked with the Instagram logo for easy identification.
